Hotspur Helium is a British natural helium exploration company. Its management team has extensive experience generating and developing nationally significant, large-scale greenfield renewable energy projects across the world.

Our world-leading technical experts offer unmatched geoscience proficiency. The company’s in-house subsurface, operational, and fundraising capabilities enable the team to secure, de-risk and delineate greenfield prospects, ultimately developing and producing new supplies of green, natural helium.

Experienced working in developing regions and economies, we use our expertise to work with host governments and local communities, securing exclusive licences to deliver a portfolio of successful projects. We develop projects in a manner which benefits the people and countries in which we operate.

The team owned and operated a 1,000 hp rig package in East Africa, pioneering the mixed-fleet approach to geothermal drilling in the region. The drilling process for helium is largely comparable to geothermal and natural gas, providing transferable skills to maximise success during discovery and production.
